Feature of form

Do Bau tree is perennial, belongs to the type of wood, 30-40m high, gray bark, with fibers.

Leaves are alternate, oblong or oval spear, pointed at the base, tapered at the tip, 8-10 cm long, 3.5 to 5.5 cm wide, with bulging edges, green upper face, bright glossy, smooth, paler underside with soft bristles. Flowers into clusters or canopy, hairy axils.

Dried fruit, capsule type, pear-shaped, with ruffled feathers, 4cm long, 3cm wide, 2cm thick. The seeds have only one main part in the upper cone form and the elongation at the bottom, the outer shell is wooded, the inside is soft. The tree usually produces fruit from March to June.
